The agency operates under the direction of a Board of Trustees.
Board meetings are held 3:30 pm on the fourth Thursday of the month.
Except the month of November and December when meetings are held on the third Thursday.
Meetings are held at the agency.
Meals on Wheels Older Adult Alternatives works in collaboration with the Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging, one of 12 multi-county agencies in Ohio, established under the federal Older American's Act of 1965, 1972 Amendments. Area Agency's on Aging provide leadership on all aging issues on behalf of older persons through a wide range of advocacy, planning, and coordination efforts leading to the development of community-based systems designed to assist older persons in leading independent, meaningful, and dignified lives in their own homes and communities for as long as appropriately possible.
